Failure is curable.

Friday, September 19th, 2008

I took a big spill skiing this winter–cranked my lower back.  I still haven’t recovered.

I biffed it on motorcycle when I was twelve–ripped open my knee.  I still have a decent scar.

I got sick eating oysters in San Francisco about 8 years ago.  I still gag at the thought of oysters.

And, I’ve failed miserably at many things I’ve attempted in life.  Somehow I have a hard time remembering what those failures were.   Why?

Today I’ll do something different than yesterday.  Why?  Because everything I did today, didn’t work perfectly—which means, I failed.  And, that’s what makes tomorrow even more interesting.
